Rotterdam St. Philip and St. Bartholomew Indian Orthodox Congregation

Netherlands, Europe

The Indian Orthodox faithful in Netherlands began gathering for worship in Rotterdam in March 2024. On 15 November 2024, H.E. Abraham Mar Stephanos officially declared the community as a congregation under the Diocese of UK–Europe and Africa, naming it “St. Philip and St. Bartholomew Indian Orthodox Congregation, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.” Following its official formation, the congregation has been gathering once every month for the celebration of the Holy Qurbana. The community has since established regular Sunday School sessions, conducts monthly prayer meetings and organizes OCYM activities.
