The Akhila Malankara Orthodox Church Prayer Group Association (MOCPA) has been established to monitor and enhance the prayer and Bible reading habits of members across the various Parishes of the Diocese. Its mission is to foster firm faith, love for the Church, and brotherhood, while promoting the spiritual, material, and educational upliftment of our community.

Activities and Achievements:

The reporting period from 1st Jan 2025 to 31st April 2025 was both brief and productive. During this time, Diocese Metropolitan H.E. Abraham Mar Stephanos appointed Rev. Fr. Mathews Kuriakose as the Vice President and Mr. Wilson George as the General Secretary.

Spiritual Activities:

·       Prayer Meetings were held throughout the 3-day Lent and the Great Lent period, with an average turnout of over 180 Families. Various clergy from the diocese led the evening prayers and Lenten meditations, enriching the spiritual experience for all attendees.

·       Bible Study Classes: Initiated weekly Bible study classes in various parishes, encouraging deeper engagement with scripture and fostering a sense of community.

Future Plans:

Looking ahead, MOCPA is committed to expanding its activities to further enrich the spiritual lives of its members.
