The St. Behanans Indian Orthodox church is a Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church located at the country town of Herefordshire, England.

As per the desire in the minds of the Indian immigrants to the Herefordshire area and with support of Fr Mathew Abraham Palathinkal enable the community to start worshipping with the first Holy Qurbana being celebrated by the diocesan bishop H.G Abraham Mar Stephanos on 28th January 2023 at St. Mary’s church 29 Grandstand Rd. with less than fifteen families.

Thereafter Holy Qurbana has regularly been conducted on second Saturdays of every month with all spiritual Organization such as Sunday’s school operating online and offline classes all 4 weeks in the month and Martha Maria Samajanm and prayer group actively functioning in the parish.

With Blessing of our dear thirumeni H. G Abraham Mar Stephanos the metropolitan of the Diocese of UK-Europe and Africa the church was officially named in remembrance of St.Behnam the first Martyr in 4th century and named the church as St. Behanans Indian Orthodox church Hereford.
